OUTREACH TO LAGOS STATE MOTHERLESS BABIES’ HOME
With hearts full of gratitude to God, Jesulana Hope Alive Foundation joyfully records the completion of its monthly orphanage outreach for the year 2022 through a visit to Lagos State Motherless Babies’ Home, located at 1 Kenneth Agbakuru Street, Off Admiralty Way, Road 12, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, on 20th December, 2022. This final visit of the year was not only a moment of outreach, but also a season of thanksgiving for God’s grace, faithfulness, and provision throughout the Foundation’s journey of touching lives and bringing hope to the needy.
During the visit, we had a brief but meaningful conversation with one of the attendants, who shared valuable insight into the work of the home. We learnt that the home cares for vulnerable children affected by abandonment, neglect, physical abuse, or sexual abuse. We were also informed that children are admitted through the state regulatory body for orphanage homes or through the police, while adoption and family reunification are handled with careful monitoring to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child. It was deeply moving to hear that the children are prayed for daily and that those who show them kindness are also remembered in those prayers.
To the glory of God, the Foundation donated half a bag of rice, one bag of garri, one pack of spaghetti, two packs of noodles, and 5kg of semolina. Present during the visit were Engr. Festus Jesulana, Mrs. Adenike Jesulana, Mr. Olamilekan Daniel, Yahdah, Favor, and Godwin. This outreach remains a touching conclusion to a year marked by compassion, service, and the unfailing goodness of God.
