OUTREACH TO GRACE SPRING REHABILITATION HOME

With profound gratitude to God, Jesulana Hope Alive Foundation records another successful monthly outreach carried out on 20th September, 2022, through a visit to Grace Spring Rehabilitation Home, located at 12 Industrial Estate Road, Off Town Planning Way, Ilupeju, Lagos State. This visit was in continuation of the Foundation’s divine mandate to reach out to the less privileged and to consistently show love, care, and compassion through practical support. We also learnt that the home was founded by Fountain of Life Church.

Although we were unable to meet any of the children or young people under the care of the home during this visit, the outreach was still deeply enlightening and impactful. We were informed that the Ilupeju center is not a residential facility, but a reception center where beneficiaries come in the morning and leave by 2pm. We were also told that the residential branch is located in Ikorodu, where children are accommodated for a six-month transitional rehabilitation process before being reunited with their families.

During our discussion with the staff members who received us, we gained meaningful insight into the home’s mission and operations. They shared that the organization works with male and female street children between the ages of 10 and 21, providing them with food, counseling, vocational training, and tutorial classes. Their vision of transforming vulnerable children into responsible and productive members of society was truly inspiring.

To the glory of God, the Foundation donated one bag of rice, one pack of spaghetti, Maggi, two packs of Golden Penny Noodles, one pack of tissue, and 5kg of semolina. Present during the visit were Mr. Festus Jesulana, Mrs. Adenike Jesulana, Mr. Paul, Mr. Olamilekan Daniel, and Engr. Oluwanishola. This outreach remains another meaningful step in the Foundation’s journey of mercy, hope, and service to humanity.
