OUTREACH TO LIFE FOUNTAIN ORPHANAGE HOME
It is with a heart full of gratitude to God that Jesulana Hope Alive Foundation records another memorable outreach carried out on 29th July, 2022, through a visit to Life Fountain Orphanage Home, located at Omole, Ojodu, Lagos State. This visit was in fulfillment of the Foundation’s God given mandate to reach out monthly to the less privileged, bringing love, care, and relief through donations and acts of compassion. The home, we learnt, was founded by Mr. Jegede Paul.
Although we were unable to meet the children during this visit because they were observing their recess and could not come downstairs, the experience was still deeply meaningful. Even in their absence, our hearts were touched by the thought of the young lives being sheltered, nurtured, and cared for within the home.
During the outreach, the Foundation donated one bag of rice, one bunch of banana, one pack of Golden Penny Noodles, one pack of Goat Meat Noodles, one pack of spaghetti, and Maggi. As part of its continued monthly commitment to showing kindness beyond the orphanage homes, the Foundation also extended cash gifts to several individuals in need.
While at the home, we had the privilege of speaking with the man who received us, and through him we gained valuable insight into the history and operations of the orphanage. We learnt that the home has existed for about ten years in the same rented building, with about twenty children between the ages of three and seventeen, and is founded and largely funded by Mr. Paul Jegede.
Present during this visit were Mr. Festus Jesulana, Mrs. Adenike Jesulana, Mr. Paul, Mr. Olamilekan Daniel, Ms. Godwin Jesulana, Ms. Elijah Jesulana, and Damsel Yadah Jesulana. This outreach remains another touching reminder of the grace of God and the Foundation’s growing commitment to humanity.
